Transfering files via Infrared

Hi,
I installed birda from ports collection of
FreeBSD 5.1 RELEASE which is running on
IBM ThinkPad R40.

I want to transfer files from my mobile phone
which is supporting Infrared. (Nokia 3650)

I tried to do but there is no success.

Is there anyone have experience or advice
with that.
