I had it working on a Dell Latitude CPi running OBSD 2.6, but I have since switched to a different machine and I don't have the kernel configuration anymore. The Crystal chipset isn't supported directly, but the Crystal is SoundBlaster compatible, so configure your kernel for SoundBlaster. It might take awhile to get it working, but don't give up. It worked well enough for me to play MP3s. One hint - if you have trouble getting it to work, power off your machine, remove the battery, and try again. Sometimes the sound chip gets in a funky state if your kernel is misconfigured and you need to power off the machine all the way to reset it.
