Everything goes well until I get to the point that I need to choose the source media. I choose my cdrom as the source. It finds acd0 as my cdrom and prompts me for the partition. It seems to me one of the Thinkpads requires a magic keychord to do 800x600, because it assumes you want to use an external monitor even if you don't have one (who thinks these things up??). Also, make sure you have the aperture driver enabled. 320x200 is often a symptom of no aperture driver.
