It is in the OpenBSD source tree, get a recent snapshot kernel, and you should be all set. To wit: I've had problems in the past with Toshiba CDROMS when I didn't do a _hard_ reset. How hard? Try cycling power! I could not access the CDROM after doing a "reboot", but could if I halted and then cycled power. Of course, this may have nothing to do with your problem. // marc From owner-openbsd-mobile-outgoing@monkey.org Wed Aug 11 09:40:31 1999 Delivered-To: openbsd-mobile-outgoing@monkey.org Received: by funky.monkey.org (Postfix, from userid 502) id 853AA23DAE; Wed, 11 Aug 1999 09:40:30 -0400 (EDT) Delivered-To: openbsd-mobile@monkey.org Received: by funky.monkey.org (Postfix, from userid 1001) id 4842723DAC; Wed, 11 Aug 1999 09:40:29 -0400 (EDT) Received: from squack.COM (unknown [212.23.32.115]) by funky.monkey.org (Postfix) with SMTP id E47EE23D8A for ; Wed, 11 Aug 1999 04:24:41 -0400 (EDT) Received: (qmail 29156 invoked by uid 501); 11 Aug 1999 08:23:07 -0000 Date: Wed, 11 Aug 1999 08:23:07 +0000 From: Steve Mynott To: openbsd-mobile@monkey.org Subject: Re: OpenBSD-mobile: Toshiba Satellite 335CDT CDROM Message-ID: <19990811082307.A29091@tightrope.demon.co.uk> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 0.95.1i X-Echelon: no-archive X-Operating-System: SunOS squack.com 5.6 Generic sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-5 Sender: openbsd-mobile-owner@monkey.org Precedence: bulk Return-Path: can anyone recommend a good laptop for OpenBSD (preferably 'brand' name Toshiba, Dell, IBM whatever)? also one where the hardware (sound and graphics) has good support in OpenBSD. -- 1024/D9C69DF9 steve mynott steve@tightrope.demon.co.uk http://www.pineal.com/ if you think the united states has stood still, who built the largest shopping center in the world? -- richard m. nixon From owner-openbsd-mobile-outgoing@monkey.org Sat Aug 21 13:32:45 1999 Delivered-To: openbsd-mobile-outgoing@monkey.org Received: by funky.monkey.org (Postfix, from userid 502) id 4EAA823DD6; Sat, 21 Aug 1999 13:32:45 -0400 (EDT) Delivered-To: openbsd-mobile@monkey.org Received: by funky.monkey.org (Postfix, from userid 1001) id 9086623DD5; Sat, 21 Aug 1999 13:32:40 -0400 (EDT) Received: from phear.darq.net (phear.darq.net [195.8.71.14]) by funky.monkey.org (Postfix) with SMTP id 6A52E23DC1 for ; Thu, 19 Aug 1999 13:01:00 -0400 (EDT) Received: (qmail 27287 invoked by uid 1000); 19 Aug 1999 17:04:16 -0000 Date: Thu, 19 Aug 1999 18:04:15 +0100 From: Ian Morrison To: openbsd-mobile@monkey.org Subject: OpenBSD-mobile: Adaptec 1460 PCMCIA SCSI Host Apapter Message-ID: <19990819180415.A20322@darq.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 0.95.3i X-Url: http://www.darq.net/ Sender: openbsd-mobile-owner@monkey.org Precedence: bulk Return-Path: Hi, I've just got hold of an Adaptec 1460 PCMCIA SCSI card, and am trying to get it to work in my Tosh 430 CDS.
