T-shirt update & slogans
Ok, the shirts are going!!
A lot of people are ordering L's in green. And I think I'm out. In general
L's are getting low (except for blue). I have lots of XXL and XXXL and a
sizeable quantity of XL's.
I may get something going with the Computer Store in Canada but we're still
working on the details.
It's too early to really think about the next run but I'm throwing ideas
out anyway. We've got a nice new daemon logo. It would be great either as a
big graphic on the back or as a small one over the chest. Also little
slogans (like my .sigs) would be cool on the back. Send your submissions my
way but keep them short and sweet. I just thought of "Sticking it to the
competition..." (look at the new daemon graphic and you'll see)
I'm also entertaining options of getting tie-dyed shirts for some of the
next batch. How many other geeks run around with multi-colored shirts? I
haven't seen too many. One sided shirts are ok, but having stuff on both
sides is even better. I know a couple people here whose sole livelyhood is
selling shirts and trinkets to DC tourists. He knows a few good printers.
Back when I did some shirts for my unit, we did a spoof of the Absolut
Vodka commercial. We could tailor it along the lines of "computer security
will drive you to drink." and then on the other side go into the narrative.
It's a simple yet eye catching way of getting our message across. If you
want to see the one I did, mail me and I'll probably post it. We thought it
was cool, anyway.
If you guys manage to deplete this round of shirts (it's my money riding on
them and I kinda want it back) I might be tempted to do the next round
shortly after the next release happens.
