As I might come to Boston if I get the finances sorted out, is there
somebody who wants to share a room? That would be for the whole week then.
Next up for me is SANE'98 (anybody looking for a roomshare for Thursday
night 19981019?). I asked if it was possible to get some available space,
but they don't seem to be all to keen on handing out free/cheap tables,
the Exhibition Room is strictly commerical (and quite expensive if you
ask me). They did allow a banner to be hung up, so if it's possible for
that thing to be send over I'll be glad to send it back on my costs (or
bring it personally to LISA'98).
What I kind of miss is some form of easy publicity, leaflets/pamphlet
material, stickers you can hand out. Something that I could repreduce
here on my own, not needing to be send over from the US/Canada. Costs is
not really a problem, but there is no need to spend unneeded money on
fly-over-at-night.
Is there anybody working on a A4 sheet with some of the highlights of
OpenBSD, contact information, announcement of the 2.4, where people could
pre-order them (remember, SANE'98 is still a month away) with some
artwork on it to make it look 'a bit professional'?
It would be nice to have such a thing, kept up to date so that every once
in a while if there is an occasion one could print 500 of them and
distribute them at a congress or fair.
Actually I could cook something up myself. Hmmm. Any suggestions as for
the contents?
