What is `it' -- the 3.5 gig or the 1 gig?  Which is wd0, the 3.5 or the
1 gig.

What EXACTLY is listed, and when.  I can't tell from the above if it
is the boot loader or kernel that is listing your disk.  And since you say
you have two disks, which is being listed?  What is `the disk' being listed?

I don't know much about i386 boot procedures (I run a sparc, here), but I
do know you have to give the people that do know such things good information
or they'll never be able to help.
