That's not what I saw in the original artcile.  All I saw was that
machines were loaned.  The FreeBSD/sparc port project was definitely
just a part of sun wanting their hardware to run FreeBSD (since they
were the hardware part of sun, they didn't much care if it ran solaris
too or not, sun not being of one mind, but many different sunlettes at
the time).

From the tone of your message, it sounds like you feel that I'm
attacking you.  That isn't the case.  I was just sharing my
observations about what I knew about the deal vs what I knew about
other deals that had happened.  Since I had only some of the facts,
these comparisons weren't accurate.
