OK, I updated using a CVS tag=. instead of tag=OPENBSD_2_9
and the problem is clearly fixed now. (OBSD 3.0 kernel)

I updated sources just last week and recompiled everything
using tag=OPENBSD_2_9 and still had the bug.  May I ask, should
I have recieved the patch you mentioned by using this tag, or
was I doing something wrong?
