2.5 Release/i386 Lockup on /dev/fd0c error

Good Morning,

Today I came into work and mounted a what turns out to be bad floppy disk
on my 2.5/i386 machine.  It froze up, i switched to C0 and it had dropped
into debugger.  I switch back to C1 to see if a seek error or some other
madness was being reported.  After that the machine was unresponsive on
the console.  It did not answer pings, mad the boss go hmm, etc...  From
memory it had a "Bad directory entry error" on the screen.
