System : OpenBSD 2.6

>Description:
Since OpenBSD 2.2, I tried several versions of Netscape Communicator and
then I choosed Netscape Communicator 4.05 for Linux, because it proved
to be the most stable and featured.
I used it with no particular problem until I upgraded to OpenBSD 2.6.
Since the upgrade, every time I try to get new emails (via POP3) the
program opens the little window with the counter of emails and then
freezes forever!
I tried to install the latest version (4.7), both the normal and the
glibc one, but nothing changed.
I tried to format another PC and made a fresh 2.6 installation, with the
official Linux_lib port, but nothing changed!
I tried to use a different POP3 server (another provider with another
software), but nothing changed!
Now the only cause I can think of is some change into the 2.6 Linux emulation
code that make Netscape crash.
>How-To-Repeat:
Run a Linux version of Netscape Communicator and try to get new emails
from a POP3 server.
>Fix:
Don't use Linux version of Netscape Communicator!
I know that the official port is based onto the BSDI version, but I
found it with so many bugs (especially with Java) and with so many lacking
features that I don't think it is a real substitute to the Linux version.
