Re: Bad news about OpenBSD mirror...
This message may have been a bit premature. After some more discussions it
has been decided that we are going to be allowing other NASA sites to
continue to use the service, and re-evaluate making the service available
to the public at a later date. But for now the service will be restricted
to NASA only.
Please update the web pages/FAQ/etc accordingly.

I regret that I must inform the community that permission for me to run an
OpenBSD mirror at the NASA Ames Research Center has been revoked. New
management in my area was unconvinced by my arguments as to the benefits to
Ames for having the mirror. They felt the risk of offering this "public
service" was too great for the perceived non-benefits of hosting the site.
I will continue to try and get the mirror re-instated as I find the
opportunities.
Therefor, mirror.arc.nasa.gov will be going off-line in the near future.
Sorry guys...it was nice while it lasted.
Please update the web pages to show that there are no mirrors running at
arc.nasa.gov.
