I ran it forever on SunOS (4.1.3+) with a Telebit 2500 with few issues
that I recall. I haven't kicked it onto the OpenBSD side since a move
and little need for FAXing (except for one desperate and quick dive to
get a Powerbook/MacOS to receive a fax from a landlord).
Perhaps I'm naive, but I can't see it getting WORSE since 1993/1994.
It worked fine for a sendmail to FAX service with a pair of these
modems at a job, same period - pretty much a built-in for sendmail.
