i used vipw and it worked fine. what interests me is that OpenBSD seems to
be completely lacking in standard password maintenance. i would have
expected that such a secure operating system would have expiration
mechanisms already in place by default. oh well - looks like i'll have to
do it myself! do you suppose i could use the FreeBSD and NetBSD adduser
equivalents as a starting point?
