Oops, looks like I missed this the first time around. Have you looked at
GNU enscript? Looking at my FreeBSD machine (the one I can check right
now), it's under print/enscript-[papersize] in the ports. By default it
doesn't do color, I don't think, but it can. It's also quite extensible and
modifiable, with a language kind of similar to awk.
