I have a similar set-up with no problems. If you unplug the box while it's running and then plug it into the switch you may get problems. Power down both boxes, set it up the way you want it and then boot both of them. You also may need to reset the switch to recognize them but other than that I
have no idea. Which brand cpu switch?
