I have no idea of the brand - because it's appears to be a no-name cheapo brand. It's a rotary sort of switch and it has a "W" on it - but no indication what it stands for.

The solution seems to be to unplug my mouse from the BSD machine. I'll work with that until I decide to install X. :)
