7880 is included, but....

On my Dell 410 the 7880 is tied to an NEC CD-ROM.  The driver
fails to handle the 16-bit -> 8-bit change when negotiating with
my CD-ROM.   Then the kernel hangs.   From what I've been told
this seems to be unique to my system :-(

I'm building a system without 7880 support for now, as I 
can do without the CD-ROM for a while (the disks are on a 7890/1)
