Help with ports installing

I've just installed my first 2.6 OpenBSD.  I'm trying to get it to where
I liked my 2.5.  Anyway, I downloaded the ports.tar.gz file from the ftp
server, it's not a recent snapshot as I installed the original release
of 2.6, and I extracted the tcsh source files and then went to compile
them and this is what I got:
"/usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk", line 2: Could not find
/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk
/bsd.port.mk
Fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue

What's going on?
