I rip my CDs into AIFFs on my Mac using Track Thief, and encode them using
BladeEnc.  It's in the ports.

BladeEnc lets me do 192k mp3s, I think it goes higher too.  I know some
people might think 192k is excessive, but the way I look at it, I want my
mp3s to be able to completely replace my CDs :)
