misc -current stuff
Trying to install -current (my own snapshot created from sources as
of about 24 hyours ago)...
1) the termcap problem on the console still exists. Is there a way
to clear the graphics mode once its set? Yes, I know about vt220-old
(or whatever it's name is).
2) I can boot from floppy and then select hd0a:bsd, but I can not boot
from sd0a. I get the message:
Using Drive: 0 Partition: 3
and then the system hangs. sd0 info follows.
3) disklabel says the drive is 3600 RPM. It is really 7200 RPM. Is
the disklabel value informational only, or can I get better performance
if I change it.
Note: the following dmesg says:

this is a local patch to get around a hang when trying to talk to the
CDROM attached to that controller.
