Re: ifconfig dummy device
I think he wants to assign multiple IP addresses to one interface. To do
so, you must use the alias option in ifconfig.
see ifconfig(8) and look at the alias option. (Basically all you have to
do is do the same sort of ifconfig as normal and tack alias onto the end.
