problem ftping ports ...

Hi all,

I have an interesting problem here.
I just installed openbsd. Everything installed fine and I would like to
install some ports.

I got the newest ports tree from ftp.openbsd.org.
And now comes the big problem which really puzzles me.
I cd into the port , lets say bash2 and type in make. Everything runs
perfect. I get an ftp connection,
the necessary file bash-2.04.tar is found and the get command is issued.
After that NADA. nothing happens.

I found out that I do not seem to receive anything from ftp servers
beside the mod. As soon as I get anything I don't receive a thing.

If I connect to an internal ftp server everything works like a charm.

Does anybody got an idea ?
(I have not installed the ssl package yet - due to the fact that ftp
doesn work and I use 2.6 out from the cd)
