I'd suggest a -current userland.  I'm in the process of upgrading a 
virtual OpenBSD installation (running vmware under FreeBSD on my 
laptop) and am having some troubles with a -current kernel & 2.6 
userland.  Of course it wouldn't be this way if my laptop didn't 
crash while I was doing a make build over NFS 8*I
