Hi Chris,

Thanks for the effort. I will have a look at it. However, at the current
moment we are reorganizing the full source base for autoconf, so
hopefully these changes won't be necessary. For the past two weeks we
have been working hard on fixing compatibility problems and cleaning up
the code considerably.
