Thanks Marc. But what I need is to be able to update to the version of 
the ports tree that is just prior to when it began tracking -current. 

I am tracking -stable (patch branch, whatever) in /usr/src, and am 
under the impression that I will break my system if I update my 
usr/ports tree to "today's" version.

I think there's a [-D] option in cvs to set the date, but after reading 
the man page & recalling my earlier confusion with cvs I was concerned 
I'd hose my ports tree if I didn't get this _exactly_ right. In other 
words, I don't know shit from butterbeans about cvs yet... I'm trying 
to learn, but it's not a simple creature.
