solved (kind-of): samba <-> w2k
Hi all,
well, the simple solution to the problem that smb connects were terribly
slow was to reboot the OpenBSD/samba box. I guess it was entangled in some
weird ipf settings. For no apparent reason, ipf was running and messing up
things. Ipf -D, route flush and sh -x netstart did not help. As a qnd
solution I put ipf -D in rc.local and as stated above, since the following
reboot all has been doing fine.
I hadn't dreamed that samba could emulate *that* much Windows behaviour ;)
Greetings,
Volker
