find the largest, most "main" looking chip and find the most likely serial
number string on it.
search on yahoo, deja.com/usenet, and driverguide.com
You will find the setup program for it.
You can also try searching on the FCC id of the card, though I've not had
as much luck that way.
Once you get the config program, turn off PnP, set the IRQ (if you're
using the GENERIC kernel, be sure to set it at one of the two ne driver
settings - I've got my linksys at 10/300 using ne1 (i forget the other
setting), reserve it in the BIOS, and boot up. It should work.
