Need pcmcia for ppp docs

Hello:

I am trying to setup a pcmcia modem for dialin/ppp
on a dell laptop. Does anyone have a link or doc 
anywhere that describes the requiremts for setting
up a pcmsia modem? I've tried the FAQ, perhaps I 
have not looked in the right place?
