Port update Question
Finally overcame the faulty mutt port from the 2.7 cd ??
Here's what I did:
First tried updating just the mutt port via cvs to the Aug 1 version.
Following the CVS update, make refused to complete because bsd.port.mk
was the wrong version. Did some further reading & learned ports should
be updated as a unit. So - next tried updating the entire tree as
follows:
# cd /usr
# cvs -q -d anoncvs@anoncvs.(etc) up -D "2000-08-01" -PAd ports
I noted a large number of messages indicating that "somefilename is not
(any longer) relevant"
What does this mean? BTW - "make" & "make install" seemed to complete
normally.
Thanks,
James Moore
