installing X?

I opted to skip X when I first installed OBSD 2.7 (i386). But now I want
to try some ports that require X (like Ethereal) so I need to install
it. I copied X11.tar.gz from the CD to /usr/X11R6, unarchived it, and
ran 'make' from that directory. After hours of making, it completes but
there is no directory /usr/X11R6/bin. Did I miss some steps? Is there
any OBSD documentation that describes the X installation process, or
should I refer to the Xfree.org docs? Thanks.
