Why don't you (not only Andreas but others too) like proftpd?
Where is the risk to run it under openbsd?

It's so easy to set up in proftpd's configuration file what you need in the 
above quote, you can even run it and test the functionality you want on an 
other port parallel to a running other ftpd.
