I have a /28 at home and I get less than 10 port scans a week (at a bank
where I used to work we got 10 scans per minute). I usually report them
to their ISP's abuse address. Every once in a while I get a reply saying
"thanks to your note we found a compromised machine" and I get a warm  
fuzzy feeling that I have made the world slightly better.
