I'm sorry that I didn't give those information right away,
stupid me...

Notebook: Siemens Scenic Mobil 710
nic: D-Link 660

The dmesg is attached to the mail. 
I don't know if it cause the problem, but I took my kernel-config file
from 2.7 (the one i created back then, and used it with the 2.8 stuff),
however neither config nor the make proccess did really complain...
