Yup, I've looked at it, and it suffers from the fact that it returns
non-standard ls results that many common clients (like IE) can't
parse correctly.  Could have been something I was doing wrong, but I
couldn't get it to output otherwise.  Anyone else had any luck?

Absolutely - at the time I switched away from it, a series of 
exploits came out for it, and after the third one I figured it
wasn't worth the hassle until it stood the test of time a bit.

As FTP configuration systems go, it is my favourite though; very
well documented, centralized, and clear.
