The TrheadSafeAPI simply means X wraps things in its own threadsafe code
for a single function .. it doesn't mean it doesnt enable threads.
If xmms isn't working, I'd think it is because it doesn't recognize that
OpenBSD has threads enabled in X11 for i386.
