QT2 Outputs "virtual memory exhausted"

When installing QT2 from the ports I get an error saying virtual memory 
exhausted and it says to look at the limit or ulimit command.  When I 
checkout man I got csh and ksh.  How would I use limit to set everything to 
unlimited?
