   I would doubt that it eats less CPU time. Also you will have
   problems with channel-bundling and compression because
   the serial line can't keep up (lets say 512bps peak). A
   solution might be USB.

   I eventually will port isdn4bsd to OpenBSD 2.8. The porting
   is not a problem but I there are some problems with the driver 
   for the AVM Fritz! card (PCI).
