Kernel directive at boot time

I just completed a fresh 2.7 install on a work machine (ftp based via
floppy27.fs) and after completion of the install, immediately after the
"boot>" prompt the machine will reboot itself. I have to specifically name
the kernel to continue OBSD's progress. ie. "boot> /bsd". Why do I have to
type '/bsd' and how to I stop having to type it in to get the machine to
boot? I'm confused on this one. Thanks.
