Re: cpu amount

I don't much like the tone in your voice. I didn't mean to be
impolite or arrogant, I just wanted to give him a slight hint
towards something which might be helpful. I might initiiate a
gene analysis to make sure I'm not a monkey. You're not into
Nietzsche, are you?

You might not believe me, but I do know that. I only tried to
interpret what he wanted to achieve with his question. If I
didn't help him, I don't think that's a sufficient reason for you
to get worked up. I assumed he wanted to know whether he could
change some processes' "intensity" of CPU use. Of course
manipulating the priority of a process doesn't really change the
amount of CPU time it gets, but the effect of nice might have
been what Rafael was looking for. If not, hey, so what? I was
trying to be helpful, and I get slapped with a large trout for
it. Great. I think everybody's able to speak for themselves if
their questions don't get answered.
Could we now switch back to a bit more conversational tone,
please?
