Re: aDSL and OpenBSD in Australia?

Hi,

aDSL does not HAVE to use PPPoE. The PPPoE is an implementation
detail specific to an ISP.

It is entirely possible to get aDSL without PPPoE... I have three
of them in various offices.

PPPoE is not very desirable, specially if you are going to run NAT.
the MTU on PPPoE is < 1500, and causes problems when combined with
NAT.

Just a heads up, check the maillist archives, I've posted lots about
this subject..

Good Luck
