Weird 2.7 error

	After shutting down and restarting my 2.7 box, I've been getting the
following error messages.. 
Nov 30 08:41:01 looking-glass init: can't exec
getty '/usr/libexec/getty' for port /dev /ttyC5: Is a directory

	i coudln't find anything in the archives about it, though a search
on a search engine yielded one clue about having to make the /dev/tty
entry ( it was a netbsd list however ) ... Is this the case? at this point
I cannt login to the machine, so I'pose I'd have to boot it single user
mode and do this?  any help would be appreciated
