Sound (volume) issues

Hi OpenBSD users,

At the moment I'm using OpenBSD. But unfortunatly for me I sometimes have
to reset the box and fire-up some other OS. No big deal. But at
boot, some values of mixerctl are turned off by default.

Like for example inputs.cd.mute is commonly on. Together with
inputs.line.mute and inputs.aux.mute they are all on. I know myself and
music is VERY important to me. So I added 3 lines in my /etc/rc.local so
these values at boot will be changed into off :)

This I find somewhat like a workaround. Isn't there an other solution to
keep mixerctl values the same after a reboot?

I was thinking of making a small addition to the /etc/rc that checks if
/etc/mixerctl is there and sets the values. The same way it is done with
sysctl. Or is something done to keep mixerctl values in 2.8??

Sorry for my crappy english. Not much sleep isn't good for the mind
(sometimes).

I'm off..
	Greetings,
	Sacha Ligthert

OpenBSD of ander BSD's??
