hi Ken,
somewhat confused on your question but mysql uses a password
db
for the entering of passwords totally separate from that used in the OBSD
system. much like postgresql and msql and mysql they are isolated in a
db from what i recall. another thing to remember is that the root in the
mysql
server is totally independent of the passwords living on the OBSD std
system.
