1) DHCP is helpful. Make sure the OBSD firewall is running dhcpd, and 
for windows machines just run 'winipcfg' (possibly something different 
for win2k) and 'renew all'. For UN*X machines, run dhcpcd.

2) Be sure you've read through section 6 of the FAQ at least three 
times. It took me more than that to really get a handle on some of the 
concepts required. It's easy to overlook potential network issues if you 
don't have clearly in mind what needs to happen. It's available at
