or #3 a PIII 800 server you build yourself with the ablility to upgrade the
CPU later. In fact
you can get a dual CPU board and have a nice system for around $900. When/If
OpenBSD goes SMP then you can get a nice performace increase for around
$200. 

I run AMD in my main machine at home and in my laptop and like their stuff
but you should still think about this option.
