dhclient memory usage growing

A few weeks ago i finally got cable modem service, everything setup nice and
easy with no problems. Then last night i noticed the machine was getting
really slugish so I took a look at top and discovered that dhclient size was
23m(after 10 days uptime) so killed it and fired it up manually. This morning
I checked it and the size was back up again to over 600k from 396k, so i
killed it again and watched it. It seems to be growing by 4k every 5 to 10
minutes.

Anbody have any insight on whats happening here? been through the archives
and haven't seen any mention of anything like this. This is stock install
with the generic kernel, 2.7 release running ipnat/ipf.
