OpenBSD 2.8 and sparc4
Hello,
Recently received the OpenBSD 2.8 cds, and promptly installed them onto a
Sparc4. Unfortunately, one of the two NICs in the machine does not seem
to get initalized by OpenBSD. I was wondering if there was anyone who
might have a suggestion on how to overcome this.
Sparc:
110-mhz
96 MB Ram
2 GB Hard disk
1 On board / built-in NIC with 10-baseT and 10-base5 (initializes fine)
known as le0
1 SBus audio card installed
1 SBus ethernet card installed of Sun creation (does not get initialized)
known as le1
This wayward NIC has worked under OpenBSD since 2.5 on a collection of
older SPARC machines I've had (IPX, IPC, Sparc1, etc) but not on this
Sparc4... so I'm guessing its something specific to the Sparc4.
Suggestions?
Advice?
Help?
Thanks in advance :)
