RE: Internet setup backfired



I had a case the other night where I had to bring up an old Compaq and the
network card would not work with the DSL modem period! Tcp dump showed
traffic but it appeared that the modem could not hear the Compaq. 

I get the box with the card to work by inserting another OpenBSD box between
it and the DSL modem. Strange problem.
