Re: Hang during first boot after install
You can configure the probe phase to give verbose messages.
When you get the initial boot loader prompt, just enter "-c" and enter.
At the UKC> prompt, issue the command "verbose" and quit.
The last message on the screen tells you which probe hung.
You can then reboot to the UKC> prompt and disable the errant device.
To permanently disable the device from the current kernel, see the -e
option in config(8).
